Appearance and description[edit | edit source]

Undercroft is located to the south-west in the area with the supplies chest in Cacti Canyon. It features glowing water pools and palm tree-like bushes, both of which are also found in Desert Temple. Upon entering Undercroft, two locked gateways, one yellow and one blue, can be seen, as well as three entrance doors. The door on the left, blocked by the blue locked gateway, leads to Undercroft Left Crypt. The door far in the background, blocked by the yellow locked gateway, leads to Undercroft Endersent Crypt. The door on the right leads to Undercroft Right Crypt, and it must be entered first to obtain a diamond key golem after defeating an ambush. Using the diamond key golem to open the blue locked gateway will allow access to Undercroft Left Crypt, the largest part of Undercroft. Undercroft Left Crypt contains a second diamond key golem, again obtained after defeating an ambush, which is used to unlocked a second blue locked gateway that prevented access to Undercroft Storage Room. Undercroft Storage Room contains a single fancy chest and emerald urn, as well as a gold key golem. Backtracking to the yellow locked gateway and using the gold key golem on it will allow access to Undercroft Endersent Crypt. Upon entering, an arena containing an endersent can be found. If the eye of ender has not been collected yet, this endersent will be the Binding Eye instead.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The song used when fighting the endersent in Undercroft Endersent Crypt is arena1, rather than Enderman which is the usual song that plays when fighting an endersent. Additionally, the ambient music does not continue to play after defeating the endersent, and is instead silent.
