Lighthouse is an optional sub dungeon within the mission Squid Coast. It has a 100% chance of spawning, however it will only spawn after the defeat of the Arch-Illager on default difficulty.
Appearance and description[edit | edit source]
Lighthouse is located in the ransacked village of Squid Coast near the shoreline. It is a small building with a large redstone lamp at its top, presumably used to direct villager ships at night. Its entrance door will only appear after the Arch-Illager has been defeated on default difficulty. It will contain one obsidian chest the first time it is found, and for all subsequent visits it will have a single emerald urn. It was originally a rune room containing the P rune, however this rune was moved to Great Hall in Camp in the final game. Remnants of Lighthouse originally being a rune room are left in the final game in the form of one of the hint paintings in Great Hall depicting a lighthouse.
