Dungeons:Item
An item is an object that can be picked up by a hero. There are multiple types of items including weapons, armors, and artifacts. Some items are also exclusively useable by mobs.
Gear[edit | edit source]
Equippable, enchantable items obtained throughout the game are collectively known as gear in Minecraft Dungeons and are sub-categorised as melee weapons, ranged weapons, and armor. Gear can appear with one of three rarities: common, rare, and unique. Additionally, gear can also appear with labels such as being gifted, if obtained from another player via the gift wrapper, or gilded.
There are 224 pieces of gear throughout Minecraft Dungeons, including 143 uniques, 21 of which are from seasonal events.
The highest possible power level for any piece of gear is 263.
Melee weapons[edit | edit source]
Melee weapons are gear that can be used to damage nearby entities. There are 82 melee weapons in total, 56 of which are unique. Of these uniques, seven are exclusive to seasonal events. There is also one unused melee weapon.
Ranged weapons[edit | edit source]
Ranged weapons are weapons that can be used to damage entities from a distance away. Each use consumes 1 arrow. If the arrow hits a wall, they will disappear within 10 seconds. Overall, there are 71 ranged weapons. Of these weapons, 48 are unique, of which seven are seasonal event-exclusive. There is additionally one unused ranged weapon.

Consumables[edit | edit source]
Consumables are dropped items that are immediately "consumed" upon clicking on it. This includes food, potions, and ammo. These items do not go into the inventory and are not retained after completing a mission. Consumables can be dropped by mobs, certain enchantments or chests.
Food[edit | edit source]
Food gives the hero Regeneration and, in some cases, an additional positive status effect for a set duration. The Regeneration effects can be stacked, but the duration does not.
Potions[edit | edit source]
Potions provide the hero its respective positive status effect for a set duration upon consumption.
Ammo[edit | edit source]
Consumables that reside within the Quiver slot of the heads-up display and deplete when pressing the ranged attack button.
Other[edit | edit source]
Consumables that are only used to unlock or achieve certain mechanics, such as modifying a mission.

Equippable items that provide no functional benefit to the hero. Obtainable through purchasing paid DLC packs or, in the case of baby pig and the sinister cape, free as a part of celebrations.
