Lower Temple is the fourth mainland secret mission in Minecraft Dungeons. It is unlocked after collecting the scroll found in Lower Levels and completing Desert Temple. Completing Lower Temple does not unlock any missions.

LOWER TEMPLE – Beneath the main Desert Temple is an area full of skeletons, wraiths, and necromancers, as well as the tricky traps that slowed your progress in the upper temple. Keep exploring the mazelike corridors and you will be rewarded with loot for solving puzzles. Once you're finished, you'll need to find a key golem in order to escape.

Lower Temple is a dimly-lit labyrinth made from sand-covered stone bricks located beneath Desert Temple. Its halls are filled with dangerous traps like crushers, spike traps, and metal blades. Like Desert Temple, it features lluminated water pools, chains, decorated pots and carpet, palm trees, and cobwebs. Halfway through the mission, a yellow locked gateway is encountered that prevents progressing east towards the exit of the mission. To the south, a gold key golem can be found surrounded by mobs. An ambush south of the key golem must be cleared before being able to bring the key golem to the locked gateway, opening the path to the rest of the mission. Shortly before the exit of the mission, the entrance door to Underground, an optional sub dungeon, can be found at the bottom of a large set of stairs. It contains a massive number of fancy chests, and a secret chest can be found by navigating to the upper ledge next to its entrance door. To the north, the exit door of Lower Temple can be found.

Unlocking[edit | edit source]

The entrance door of Lower Levels, the sub dungeon where Lower Temple's scroll is found, always spawns in Desert Temple during the following objective: "THE NAMELESS KINGDOM: FIND THE TOMB"
