Desert Temple Rune Room is an optional rune room sub dungeon within the mission Desert Temple. It contains the A rune. Like all rune rooms, it has a 100% chance of spawning, but only after defeating the Arch-Illager on default difficulty and pressing the button at the back of Great Hall in Camp.

Appearance and description[edit | edit source]

Desert Temple Rune Room is located in the area with the gold key golem in Desert Temple. The lever that opens the entrance door of Desert Temple Rune Room will only appear after pressing the button at the back of Great Hall in Camp. Like other rune rooms, Desert Temple Rune Room consists of a thin walkway suspended over an endless abyss of purple fog. Upon activating the button at the end of the walkway, several pillars will rise up in the background and the A rune will be able to be collected.
