A spider is a common hostile mob that can be found within the various missions of Minecraft Dungeons.
Spawning[edit | edit source]
Spiders spawn when night falls, regardless of the following missions, when at least one hero is defeated in multiplayer.

Behavior[edit | edit source]
Spiders are hostile toward heroes and their companions. In Minecraft Dungeons Arcade, they can drop from the ceiling using their silk.
- Walk
Spiders flee when an enemy approaches.
- Strong attack
Upon reaching a safe distance from an enemy, spiders fire webs from their abdomens, which freeze their targets.
- Basic attack
Once their target is caught in a web, spiders run up to them and bite them rapidly.
