A potato battery can be broken using any tool with equal efficiency, and always drops itself.

Redstone signal[edit | edit source]
When used, a potato battery toggles its state. When active, it emits a redstone signal of 15.
Damage[edit | edit source]
If an entity is on top of it while it is active, the entity is damaged by 0.5HP per tick. However, due to × 0.25damage immunity, the entity actually receives damage only every half a second.

Issues[edit | edit source]
Issues relating to "Potato Battery" are not maintained on the bug tracker because it is an April Fools' joke, and is therefore not in the newest stable version or snapshot. Issues reported there are closed as "Invalid".

- In real life, potato batteries are a type of electrochemical battery often created for educational purposes. These batteries employ reactions between copper and zinc electrodes and the acidic electrolytes inside the potato to produce power.
