A wavewhisperer is an underwater whisperer variant, corrupted by a shard of the Orb of Dominance, that can be found within the Hidden Depths DLC of Minecraft Dungeons.
Spawning[edit | edit source]
Behavior[edit | edit source]
Wavewhisperers act almost similarly to geomancers in terms of attack style, such as summoning anemones in a square pattern surrounding the hero. Similar to whisperers, wavewhisperers have four attacks.
- Basic attack
At close range, Wavewhisperers use their long arms at close range to hit the hero.
- Summon (quick growing kelp)
Wavewhisperers summon quick growing kelp at a distance around the hero in a trapping pattern. When they summon quick growing anemones, wavewhisperers would wave their arms, causing a blue mist to emanate from their hands, and blue cracks to appear on the ground where quick growing anemones would proceed to appear. Used more commonly.
- Summon (poison anemones)
Wavewhisperers would punch the ground and one poison anemone is summoned from the blue cracks. Used sparsely. Each poison anemone summoned have two times more HP than an actual wavewhisperer.
- Grapple vines
Wavewhisperers stretch their arms forward and close their palms, summoning a small patch of entangle vines that can trap heroes and mobs for a few seconds before disappearing. Used rarely.
Entangle anemone[edit | edit source]

An entangle anemone is a non-attackable entity that can be summoned by wavewhisperers within the various missions of Minecraft Dungeons.
Behavior[edit | edit source]
Entangle anemones are also summoned when a wavewhisperer stretches their arms forward and closes their palms.
