Minecraft Indev refers to 12 versions of Indev released from February 6 to February 23, 2010. These versions added armor, farming, furnaces, and a day-night cycle.

General[edit | edit source]
- The sun and moon move across the sky.
- Third-person view
- Toggled by pressing F5.
Blocks[edit | edit source]
- Can have crops placed on it.
- Used to smelt items.
Items[edit | edit source]
- Used to till dirt into farmland.
- Can be eaten.
- Crafted from wheat.
- Can be placed on farmland.
- Grow into wheat.
- Can be crafted into bread.
- Can be worn.
- Used for protection.
Non-mob entities[edit | edit source]
World generation[edit | edit source]
- Paradise - Beaches expanded, flower was more common, and trees was less common with a bright sky.
- Woods - No flowers, trees generate commonly and the sky was dimmer.
Changes[edit | edit source]
General[edit | edit source]
- Switched the sound system to use OpenAL.
Blocks[edit | edit source]
- Now drops itself instead of planks.
- Smelts into stone when placed in a furnace.
Mobs[edit | edit source]
- Now burn in sunlight.
- Drop arrows.
- Now burn in sunlight.
- Drop feathers.
- Drop raw porkchops.
- Drop gunpowder.
- Drop string.
