The Music update was an update for Java Edition that adds 17 new music tracks by Minecraft composer C418, released on November 15, 2013.[1] 16 tracks had been previously released on the album Minecraft - Volume Beta, and the 17th was a new original piece.
Additions[edit | edit source]
- Four tracks that play at the title screen: "Mutation", "Moog City 2", "Beginning 2", and "Floating Trees".[note 1]
- Six tracks that play in Creative mode: "Biome Fest", "Blind Spots", "Haunt Muskie", "Aria Math", "Dreiton", and "Taswell".[note 2]
- Four tracks that play in the Nether: "Concrete Halls", "Dead Voxel", "Warmth", and "Ballad of the Cats".[note 3]
- One track that plays in the End: "The End".[note 4]
- One track that plays during the credits: "Alpha".[note 5]
- One track that plays during the fight with the ender dragon: "Boss".
