Guide to Minecraft Dungeons:
A Handbook for Heroes

A creeper is a hostile mob that can be found within the various missions of Minecraft Dungeons. When within melee range, it will quickly run at the player before exploding.

Spawning[edit | edit source]

Creepers can spawn throughout the following missions:

Creepers can also spawn during night mode, regardless of the mission, when at least one hero dies in multiplayer.

Behavior[edit | edit source]

Creepers become passive if an ocelot is nearby. They also run away if they are currently being attacked by an ocelot.

Ignition

When within range of a target, creepers ignite themselves, which also increases their movement speed. After 1.5 seconds, it will explode to deal heavy damage to heroes within the explosion's radius.
