1.21.3 is a minor hotfix update to Java Edition, released on October 23, 2024,[1] which fixes critical bugs related to joining Realms with resource packs and a bug related to salmon size. It is compatible with 1.21.2 servers.

- Any small salmon from previous versions, including 1.21.2, are upgraded to their medium variants.

- MC-277779 – Salmon from 1.21.1 or before shrink when updating to 1.21.2.
- MC-277791 – Attempting to join a Realm with a Resource Pack enabled fails with an error.
