It is compatible with 1.21 servers.

  • 1.21.1 is the fourth minor update since 1.20 released to fix critical bugs in the prior release version, after 1.20.1, 1.20.4, and 1.20.6.
    • It is also the sixth Java Edition update whose development versions consist only of a single release candidate, after 1.16.3, 1.16.5, and the aforementioned minor versions of 1.20.
