Additions[edit | edit source]
Items[edit | edit source]
Golden and Diamond Armor
- Added helmets, chestplates, leggings and boots made of gold and diamond.
- Armor is currently being tested and has no function.
- Taking hits does not reduce its durability.
- Does not protect the player.
- Can be stacked in this version.
- Added 20 new armor recipes for a total of 63.
Changes[edit | edit source]
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
- Made the day/night cycle 20 minutes long, with day and night lasting 10 minutes each.
- Stars now appear in the night sky.
Other[edit | edit source]
Blocks
- Blocks that can be replaced (fire, water, lava), no longer get used up when placed in a space with the same block ID.
- Torches require support.
- Unsupported non-solid blocks now drop themselves.
- Sand and gravel fall immediately when placed once again.
- Glass no longer drops itself.
- Torches no longer automatically rotate based off block around them.
- The player can now choose which direction torches face.
- Because of this torches placed in existing worlds always face straight up.[1]
General
- Removed rain.
- Items drop in a straight line with little variation.
- Changed texture of splash particles.
- Added an "L" (lighting updates) value to the debug screen.
- Skins now display in the inventory, however, the player appears completely black unless a skin proxy is used. In this version, the player model is always shown with Notch's skin.
- Caves darkened.
- Pressing ESC now pauses the burning animation.
Fixes[edit | edit source]
From Indev 20100211

From Indev 0.31 20100104
