A ghast is a powerful mob that can be found within the Flames of the Nether DLC of Minecraft Dungeons.

Spawning[edit | edit source]

Behavior[edit | edit source]

Ghasts do not strafe around the hero like they do within the original game. Ghasts are not immune to fire effects, such as fire aspect and burning, despite using fireballs.

Descend

Ghasts may occasionally descend down to the hero's level.

Basic attack

Ghasts shoot large fireballs at targets at explode upon impact, dealing damage and leaving a large patch of fire behind.

Retreat

Ghasts retreat when a hero gets too close, similar to other ranged mobs.

  • Ghasts have a small amount of health within the original game whereas the one in Minecraft Dungeons has an enormous health pool.
