ENDERMAN – Endermen are notorious for teleporting away after taking damage. Whether you choose a melee or ranged approach, make sure to stand close to a wall so they can't apparate behind you. Prepare for a tricky fight!

Guide to Minecraft Dungeons:
A Handbook for Heroes

An enderman is a powerful ender mob that can be found within the various missions of Minecraft Dungeons. In the arcade version of the game it serves as the boss of the Creeper Woods Level.

Spawning

Behavior

Endermen cannot teleport inside walls. Unlike in Minecraft, enderman cannot be hurt by water and can be hurt by projectiles. When stared at, endermen emit static auditorily and visually, like their inspiration.[1]

Angry

Endermen attack only if they are attacked first, the hero comes too close, or the hero looks directly at them for too long.

Basic attack

Endermen swipe an arm at the hero, dealing damage to heroes within range. They occasionally swipe downward with both arms.

Teleport

When an enderman takes too much damage, it teleports to a location further away from the hero. There is a delay of varying length between disappearance and reappearance when teleporting, meaning the hero is forced to wait for the enderman to reappear in order to deal further damage.

Death animation

Endermen have a special death animation where they scream while raising their arms as they fade away, leaving no traces of their body.

Health

Endermen have 2500 HP in the code. On Default I, all mobs have 9.6% health and 12% damage of what is set in the code.
