Dungeons:Corrupted Cauldron

The corrupted cauldron is a golem-like boss fought at the end of the Soggy Swamp mission of Minecraft Dungeons. It is the first major boss encountered in the game (excluding Arcade, in which it is replaced by the Evoker boss.)

“	THE CAULDRON – This is the first boss mob that the Arch-Illager will summon in an attempt to stop you. The Cauldron produces magical purple fire that deals damage to any who touches it and also conjures up a variety of dangerous mobs to join the fray. Most disturbingly, it can consume dead mobs to regenerate its health! Defeat minor mobs before turning a ranged weapon on the Cauldron itself.	„

Behavior

The corrupted cauldron has three behaviors. It does not move during its battle, even if struck by a Gravity-enchanted weapon.

Basic attack

The corrupted cauldron creates a ring of purple fire on the mossy cobblestone blocks around it, which deals heavy damage to anything that steps in it. Used occasionally.

Intense spin

The corrupted cauldron, after a stirring animation, conjures a variety of dangerous mobs to join the battle.

Strong attack

The corrupted cauldron sucks up the corpses of any minion that is not a pink slime. Once the corpse of a mob is inside of the corrupted cauldron, the cauldron consumes it, regenerating 1% of its total health. It is somewhat similar to the leeching enchantment.

Minions

These minions are summoned by the corrupted cauldron. Minions are related with their own summoner.

The corrupted cauldron can only absorb its own minions' corpses. For example, in the tower, the corrupted cauldron does not suck up drowned corpses (Summoned by drowned necromancer). Minions within 20 blocks are killed by the corrupted cauldron if it is defeated.

“	CONJURED SLIMES – Perhaps the most dangerous mobs that the Cauldron summons, conjured slimes attack with small purple projectiles. They are best dealt with using a ranged weapon so that you can keep your distance.	„

A pink slime is a slime variant that can be found exclusively summoned by the corrupted cauldron within Minecraft Dungeons.

Behavior

Pink slimes are immobile, preferring to stay in one spot and attack heroes from a distance. They do not have a jump behavior, unlike normal slimes.

Medium attack

Pink slimes attack heroes on-sight by shooting small purple projectiles that deal moderate damage upon being hit.

Pink slime's projectiles only deal 20% damage to the corrupted cauldron.
