This article is about the species of creatures. For the specific individuals of a species, see Story Mode:Character. For other uses, see Mob (disambiguation).

In Minecraft: Story Mode, a mob refers to any creature that appear throughout the story.

In the game, mobs can be passive, neutral, or hostile, and while some are essential to the story and interact with the player, others serve as background elements or temporary obstacles. Unlike in the original Minecraft, where mobs are AI-driven, the mobs in Minecraft: Story Mode are scripted and designed to fit the narrative, or adding depth to the world.

Many of the mobs may have given names, defined personalities, and roles in the story, effectively making them characters.

There are several kinds of mobs exclusively found in Minecraft: Story Mode that are not present in Minecraft, the original game.
