v0.3.0 alpha is a major update to Minecraft: Pocket Edition that was released on April 23, 2012 and April 24, 2012.[1][2] It adds notable features, such as crafting, new mobs, blocks, items, and tools as well as other changes and fixes.[3]
This version was not playable, as the pre-reupload had a bug where it caused a crash upon launch. This was fixed in the first reupload. It was later reuploaded again that day to add more inventory space and a smaller GUI as well fixing an icon bug.
