Boom is unlocked at rank 7 of the adventure pass track of Cloudy Climb. Once unlocked, it can be equipped in the "Respawn Flairs" section of the cosmetic tab in the inventory.
Boom is a respawn flair, meaning it activates when the hero respawns. Once activated, a large explosion happens from within the hero. After a short duration the effects disappear. As is the case with all flairs, boom's effects are purely cosmetic and have no other gameplay functionality.
