The formidi-bomb, also referred to as the "F-bomb", is a powerful explosive from The Last Place You Look.

History

Magnus and Ellegaard claims that Soren has a powerful TNT, the super TNT also known as the formidi-bomb. After recruiting Soren, he gave Jesse the crafting materials for creating it. Soren noted that the super TNT and formidi-bomb are two different things. He told Jesse that crafting it is dangerous so they should do it later.

In the process of crafting the bomb when confronting the wither storm, Jesse was pulled into the tractor beam along with the ingredients and the crafting table. While suspended, he/she crafted the bomb. As the bomb floats towards one of the heads, he/she was held by the group using a fishing rod. The bomb subsequently detonated, seemingly destroying the wither.

Properties

It is automatically primed as the it is highly unstable, set to explode around half a minute. The explosive power of it is capable of temporarily disabling the wither storm. It is, however, incapable of destroying command blocks.

Trivia

• Magnus and Axel call the formidi-bomb the "F-Bomb", a joke which alludes to a common curse word.
• The formidi-bomb consumes the crafting table that is used to create it.
• Its explosion power is high enough to destroy obsidian, but unable to destroy bedrock, so it must be between 6,000 and 18,000,000.
