The banner of courage is one of the three special items gifted to the player by the hosts in Minecraft Legends.

Lore[edit | edit source]

The banner of courage was created by Knowledge and gifted to the player by the hosts upon beginning the game.

Players are able to use the banner of courage to command allied mobs to follow or attack. A mechanic called banner view can be used to command allied mobs to either "charge" or "focus target". It can also give specific orders to all mobs, all of one category, all of one mob, one random mob, one random mob in a category, or one specific type of mob.

There are four categories of mobs: melee, ranged, support, and special.

Melee mobs include cobblestone golems, zombies, warriors, and the first of stone.
Ranged mobs include plank golems, skeletons, witches, and the first of oak.
Support mobs include mossy golems and the first of brick.
Special mobs include grindstone golems, creepers, and the first of diorite.
