Jockey refers to a naturally spawned mob riding another mob. Jockeys are named based on the mob being ridden. They also follow the spawning patterns of the bottom mob. The mob on the top often controls the mob on the bottom in Java Edition, but sometimes do not control it in Bedrock Edition. See Riding for detail behavior about riding.

These compound mobs are officially named by the developers of Minecraft.

Chicken Jockey		This feature is exclusive to Java Edition. A baby Zombie (or baby Zombified Piglin, baby Zombie Villager, baby Drowned, or baby Husk) riding a Chicken.
Skeleton Horseman		A Skeleton (or Stray and Wither Skeleton) riding a Skeleton Horse.
Spider Jockey		A Skeleton (or Stray and Wither Skeleton) riding a Spider (or Cave Spider‌^{[Bedrock Edition only]}).

Unofficial

These compound mobs don't have an official name, and were never referred to be official jockeys by Minecraft developers.

Jockey of baby zombie

This feature is exclusive to Bedrock Edition.

In Bedrock Edition, 15% naturally spawned baby zombies, baby husks, and baby zombie villagers try to find a mount when it tries attacking a villager, player, or iron golem, which can ride:

Trivia

Skeleton horsemen are considered to be mini-bosses in Minecraft Dungeons.
Wither skeleton jockeys are currently unused, and can only be spawned in Creative mode.
