This song isn't made by C418, but by Lena Raine. What does this mean for copyright? Can the wiki use the full song, or does it still have to be just 30 seconds? — Thomanski | t | c | 18:14, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
- I asked User:HelenAngel through Discord a few days ago about Lena's three new ambient Nether tracks, and she confirmed that we're allowed to upload the full versions of those. I assume that applies to this music as well. –Sonicwave talk 18:32, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
- Mojang has asked us to limit music to the first 30 seconds to avoid copyright issues. Therefore, we no longer can upload full versions of new songs and we have to shorten existing full-length tracks to 30 seconds, with exception to 11 as stated in
{{License C418}}
. We can link to the full-length tracks in the creator-safe playlist on Spotify. DarkShadowTNT (talk) 01:14, 21 June 2024 (UTC)- For future reference, an announcement regarding the request has been posted on the board page. DarkShadowTNT (talk) 02:22, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
