Welcome to my user page! I was a former administrator on this wiki as well as a member of the interim board. Nowadays I am mostly retired as I don't have as much time or interest in Minecraft as I used to, but may still pop in occasionally.

My primary interest has been Java Edition, both vanilla and modded. I've also played Minecraft Dungeons and have occasionally used Bedrock Edition for Windows 10.

I also own a bot account (User:Sonicbot32), which can be used to quickly perform repetitive tasks without having them show in recent changes.

If you wish to contact me, feel free to leave a message on my talk page. I may also occasionally check the wiki's Discord server.

Useful pages[edit | edit source]

mostly for personal reference

Recent changes filters[edit | edit source]

  • Vandalism watch – show only unpatrolled edits in content namespaces, highlight unregistered and new users in yellow and reverted edits in red
  • Talk namespaces – most talk namespaces excluding user talk and minor edits

To-do list[edit | edit source]

  • Add block entity information on sculk blocks (catalyst already seems to have it)
  • Add template for referencing source code verifications, like Terraria wiki's {{source code ref}}
  • Attempt to see if {{sound}} can be made to play existing sounds at different pitches
  • Add renewability subsections
Administrative
  • Figure out what to do with history of MCW:Administrator Guide (and equivalent pages on Gamepedia Help wiki)
  • Propose or create "editing guidelines" to clarify some of the wiki's unwritten rules, such as consensus model
  • Edit admin noticeboard header to include contact info for Special:Contact and board-related matters
  • Add overview of MCW:Board to MCW:Directors, and repurpose latter into general "administration" page, to have an accessible description of board without multiple sidebar entries for each page

Random findings[edit | edit source]

  • The /playsound command in Bedrock edition seems to have a pitch range of 0.000001 to 256, unlike Java's which is limited to 0.5-2.
