A brilliant beetle is a ridable mount within Minecraft Legends.

Spawning

In campaign, brilliant beetles spawn in their home in jungles. After the hero mounts one in their home, they will spawn in jungles and villages.

In versus, brilliant beetles spawn naturally in jungles regardless if they have been unlocked.

Behavior

Brilliant beetles when not mounted will wander around, trying to avoid hazards and piglins.

While mounted by the hero, all movement controls are given to the player. Brilliant beetles have the unique ability to climb over terrain and structures such as walls, and glide slightly like the big beak mount. Unlike other mounts, brilliant beetles move slower on land, but able to quickly cross the water.
