The only thing I can really suggest is to try forcing an update the next time you launch Minecraft.
If you have any mods installed, this will uninstall them, and if the forced update fixes the problem, you'll know it was probably caused by one of them, in which case you should reinstall them one at a time, re-running the game after installing each mod, until you find which one caused it.
If you don't have any mods installed, and the forced update doesn't fix the problem, you may want to see if it's a problem with your computer or operating system: run a virus and malware scan, make sure your operating system and Java are up-to-date, etc.
If none of this helps you, the only thing I can suggest is to post your problem and what you've tried to fix it on the forum; someone there should be able to help you a lot better than I can. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 00:42, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

Hey Man, Its Spencer. Do you by any chance know any one by the name of "Matt"? Is it Ultradude? After I logged back in a few minutes ago... I was checking the "Recent changes" list, And I found someone asking a "Matt" What he did to mess up Ultradude's page. (I think this Matt, is Ultradude). It sounded Strange that this guy asked him by his real name. if Ultradude knows him, that's one thing. but if he is not, then that is strange inset it? Just wanted to ask. I have had that happen to me too at lest once. (on another site where my name was not listed as Spencer). however that turned out to be no big deal. But still. Have a good day. ;) ☎ "Minepedia!? Good bye, This is always the hard part. Sorry again. I guess I will leave again, this time, Probably for good. Unless you can convenience me to came back again in a few mouths if at all. Also, I want to know what keeps you editing? (Without getting bored and doing somthing stupid like I have been doing lately). I want to be like that, Enjoying editing for a change. I want to help others, but sometimes I feel I am not needed. Its a little Embarrassing. *Sigh* But I will be going. Stay the Nice self you are! (As you know, me not making much scene). Good Bye Again. ☎ "Minepedia!? Да я чувак!" It's a shame to see you go again, but obviously, if you aren't getting any joy or satisfaction from constructive editing, you shouldn't force yourself just to appease others (particularly if it means you end up doing something unadvisable).
As for what keeps me editing, I genuinely enjoy it, and more generally, if I don't feel like editing, I don't (aside from the occasional one- or two-click revert or something). In addition, there are certain types of edits that I particularly enjoy and that I'm very good at (the latter having arisen from the former ;) ), so if I get too bored of general editing, I can usually fall back on my real interests. In addition, I make sure to have something completely unrelated to editing to do when I'm feeling burned out; I watch a lot of anime and read a decent amount of manga, for instance - basically, it's all about pacing yourself so you don't have a chance to get too bored or burned out.
That being said, I have been feeling a bit burned out for quite a while now, and as a result don't really edit as much as I used to, though this is largely of my own doing, by stretching myself thin across several wikis. ;) ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 23:26, 8 January 2013 (UTC)

Contribution

Hello Dinoguy1000 as just another average Minecraft user here, what do you think is the largest contribution I can make for your wiki that would help all of your team and viewers?

Thoraph 07:28, 10 January 2013 (UTC)~~ Thoraph 07:28, 10 January 2013 (UTC)

Hi Thoraph, and welcome to the wiki!
I can't really say, to be honest, partly because I'm not altogether sure just what areas of the wiki would currently benefit most from attention, but also partly because the areas you could help the most in ultimately depend on your own interests and aptitudes. For starters, then, I would recommend just spending time looking around the wiki, familiarizing yourself with the structure and contents of the articles and reading some of the discussions on talk pages, while keeping an eye out for things to do that you think you'd be up to. Take your time and don't be afraid of making mistakes; anything you do can be easily undone or adjusted if it needs to be. And don't get discouraged if it seems you can't find anything to do! There's nothing at all wrong with just kicking back and reading articles for a while. ;)
Lastly, if you need any help or have any other questions, feel free to ask. Happy editing! =) ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 09:10, 10 January 2013 (UTC)

Titleblacklist

I saw your addition to block Issues, so I tested it on the recent 13w03a page, and was still able to edit it. Between the testing with default MC screenshot uploading a few weeks ago and that addition not working, I think there's some internal issue with the blacklist extension. From what I understand, none of the < > options work and using them voids the block entirely, going on the <reupload> testing and how the file block worked without the <reupload> tag. --Kanegasi C 00:13, 18 January 2013 (UTC)

I noticed that myself. Unfortunately, if it won't work with <> configuration, it largely defeats the purpose of the blacklist entry, since it'll only prevent new page creation, instead of also preventing edits to existing pages. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 00:45, 18 January 2013 (UTC)

Article permission

Dear Dinoguy1000, I am a writer with a very large interest in Minecraft. I have several high profile contacts in Minecraft who have had their work acknowledged and even supported by Mojang and Markus Perrson. I would like to get permission to write and post an article about the life and career one of my contacts, Sethbling, with whom I’ve had the pleasure of speaking. Thank you for your time and consideration, Megaave 00:57, 7 February 2013 (UTC)megaave

Hello Megaave, and welcome to the wiki!
If you mean you would like permission to write about Sethbling in general, I'm not sure why you're asking me, since I don't have any personal affiliation with him and couldn't grant permission even if I did. If, on the other hand, though, you are asking permission to write an article about him here on the wiki, I can tell you that the only way to do so would be to write it in your userspace (e.g. at User:Megaave/Sethbling). Per several of the wiki rules (and in particular rule 6), the wiki proper does not cover aspects of the fan community, so any article about the fan community will either be deleted or moved to userspace anyways.
If you have any other questions, or need help with anything, please don't hesitate to ask. Happy editing! =) ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 03:59, 7 February 2013 (UTC)

Minecraft Wiki Latency Issue

Good day. I access this site quite often. Over time it has been getting slower and slower. I have a very high speed internet connection and for some reason, I can get up to 8 second (average) latency (sometimes 20 - 30 seconds). I know that servers do not run for free, (I am a web developer myself.) but the advertisements are lagging up my browser(s) like crazy. I have to keep hitting my stop button, in order for me to get the information that I need here. This website has every resource that I need. It is fantastic webssite but, out of all my 'favorites' this is the only one with the worst latency problem.

Is there something that can be done about this or am I taking this issue with the wrong person?

Sorry to cry on your shoulder, but you have a good thing here. And if a outside source is eating up your resources for a unknown reason, or if it is 'over populated'?!?? Can you send this email to the right person and see if something can be done to speed up a super website like a normal website can be? This is ridiculous.

Have a good day and thank you for taking the time to read my gripe.

Hello Cyndi, welcome to the Minecraft Wiki (however belated that may be)!
Unfortunately, I am not the right person to talk with about this: I'm only a volunteer administrator, and have little more pull with Curse than any other editor or reader. In addition, Curse is well aware of the amount of frustration and dislike surrounding the advertisements; it has been discussed on-wiki multiple times and Curse has been directly petitioned to alter or remove the advertisements more than once. This, however, seems to be a matter on which Curse will not budge. If you would still like to make your concerns known to someone better equipped to pass them to the right people, though I would direct you to Wynthyst and wish you the best of luck. Sorry I couldn't directly be more help! ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 18:42, 9 February 2013 (UTC)

Hello! Why Ukrainian Translation Project didn't work? Minecraft_Wiki:Projects/Ukrainian_translation –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Doctor Alexor (Talk|Contribs) 10:28, 17 February 2013 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Hello Doctor Alexor, and welcome to the wiki (since I see you haven't been welcomed yet)! The Ukrainian translation page wasn't working because it was corrupted, a problem we've been having with various pages for the past several months. Currently, the only way to fix it is to delete and undelete the corrupt page, which I've done, but we should be getting an upgrade to the wiki in the next few months that will hopefully fix the ultimate cause of this corruption. (Not Urgent) Netherrack fence page has a double section

Hey I just noticed that the Netherrack fence page has the section history twice (one inside the other). I can't fix it because section removal is harmful or something. Thanks –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 31.25.46.34 (Talk) 20:34, 17 February 2013 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Fixed. The reason you got a warning for doing that is due to section removal being one of the few actions reserved for autoconfirmed users and above. Even though this is an open wiki, there still needs to be protections against anonymous vandalism. Non-autoconfirmed restrictions definitely don't cover much, but think of it as the police tape "first line of defense" in the war on vandalism. I would like to think a decent chunk of people stop there before trying something else. Kanegasi C 21:25, 17 February 2013 (UTC)

Just saying....

Hi Dino, the only reason I did that change to Mooshroom is so that readers can see that it is an external link, and not a Minecraft Wiki page. Numbermaniac 05:54, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

Special:Interwiki links exist for a reason. Anything using an Interwiki link is trusted and does not need to be labeled as external. Kanegasi C 05:57, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
You should explain this stuff in your edit summaries, instead of leaving others to guess at your intentions and reasoning. If you'd done that here, I could have replied much more directly in my own edit summary when I undid your edit.
In addition to what Kanegasi said, there is a slight visual difference between internal and interwiki links - compare this and this, for instance. Obviously, it's a quite subtle effect, but that's by design more than anything. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 06:02, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
Wow, those were some quick replies. Anyway, sorry. I've only been here for one month, so I might make a few mistakes here and there. I didn't know about that. Sorry. Numbermaniac 06:12, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
It's not exactly a rule, but if it's already linked and the link works, it's fine. Interwiki links, as they have been explained for me, are just wiki code used to cut corners in linking while editing. If you know the name of a wikipedia article, it's much quicker to just throw [{{fullurl:wikipedia:Article}} link name] together (or the even shorter [{{fullurl:wp:Page}} wikipedia article with the "Wikipedia:" prefix], instead of having to open another browser tab/window and copy the full url. There are also uses for Interwiki links where you can put an external link in an edit summary, where normal external links won't work. Kanegasi C 06:20, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
Makes sense. Thanks :) Numbermaniac 07:50, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

Bugs not reported anymore? What?

Hi, What do you mean when you say bugs aren't reported here anymore? does it refer to the bug tracker? Numbermaniac 20:43, 26 February 2013 (UTC)

Yep. It's been months since any official representative of Mojang or 4J has responded to bug reports anywhere on-wiki, instead preferring the Atlassian bug tracker (for the computer and PE versions) or the forum topic (for the Xbox version). As a result, there is no longer any point in tracking bugs on-wiki, which means there's no point in accepting bug reports here. This also means the Issues pages have all been officially archived and the system retired (new Issues subpages are no longer being created for new MC versions) and that we've started removing bug reports from elsewhere on the wiki. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 21:23, 26 February 2013 (UTC)
Oh. When it comes to the bugs section on each page, I know the issue tracker template is being implemented. However, the bugs don't appear to show up. Is that because the bug may be closed or solved? Or is there a different reason? Numbermaniac 06:43, 1 March 2013 (UTC)
It's an issue with JIRA. More info on ultradude25's talk page. Kanegasi C 06:47, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

Two broken links...

Sorry to bother you so much, but I just wanted to say two things.

  1. The link on your user page that shows your skin says 'not found'.
  2. When I click the CC BY SA 3.0 link, it goes to the wiki's home page? Why is this?

Numbermaniac 10:54, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

Don't worry too much, I'm here to help. =)
It used to be possible to view a page on the Minecraft website showing any user's skin; that link is to that old page. Unfortunately, it's been broken for some time and AFAIK there is no new functionality on Minecraft.net allowing player skins to be viewed, so I've left the link mostly because I haven't felt like changing or removing it. ;)
This is a known issue; it was previously reported at User talk:Wynthyst#Content license and from the sound of it, there's not much that can be done about it at present.

I like to build Redstone circuits. I figured out how to make a redstone lamp that automatically turns on at night. Its actually really simple. 70.181.68.226 04:01, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

At first, I tried making an alarm clock out of a note block, connected to a daylight sensor with some Redstone, but I couldn't really hear the note block, and by the time I was out of bed, the note block had already sounded and it was really quiet. So I stuck to the lamp idea. 70.181.68.226 04:16, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

There isn't anything in particular that I would build when I played, just mostly whatever little things crossed my mind. Truth be told, I don't actually have much of a creative side, so I was always quite short of build ideas that appealed to me.
Redstone seems like it'd be fairly up my alley, but I've never really taken the time to play much with it, for one reason or another.
The secret to making an alarm with note blocks is to use more than one. Depending on the tone and instrument, a single note can be missed fairly easily, especially over distance and background noise, while playing multiple notes (I'd recommend as a song or melody of some sort ;) ) doesn't get drowned out and thus missed nearly so easily. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 15:33, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

Ah. That makes more sense. But I think that the lamp would be of more use, because I might not sleep, but rather make up some automatic circuits. So I can see in the laboratory that I made with no windows, as not to expose my work-in-progress circuits. 70.181.68.226 17:27, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

(But I also made a balcony on the roof, which leads up from my second story working room with a ladder, so it's open to sunlight, which allows me to see at daytime.) 70.181.68.226 17:30, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

While Mojang are not directly responsible for the Minecraft wiki (and indeed, they couldn't, given how much work it takes to run a wiki), they recognise it as basically the official reference site for the game. Even if they did not, however, we would still be able to call this the Minecraft wiki since doing so would not interfere with Mojang's use of the name "Minecraft". ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 15:35, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

Minecraft Wiki Video

Hi,

My names James, im from Jay Apps. I've recently started a new video series, called PlanetCraft. Basically, its a documentary series looking at the mobs in minecraft, scripted on the facts from the Minecraft Wiki. I see for some of your Mobs pages you have some videos giving information on them, but not all pages do. Therefore, I would like to fill this gap and thats why Im contacting you. The series has had great feed back and is growing very fast. I cant add a link because of the of the abuse rule: Adding external links by new users, but you can find the series by searching: jayappsserver planetcraft.

Thanks,

mods for the X-box 360 edition of minecraft?

Hi, I'm probably asking the wrong guy for this... but can you mod the X-box 360 edition of minecraft? The reason I'm asking, is because the trivia section of the Human page said you could. I did not want to remove that comment unless I was sure. if you don't know, can you ask Orthotope, or somebody? 99.129.135.211 20:32, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

There are no officially available mods, and the only way to mod it yourself is to physically mod your Xbox first (as far as I know, as of about 4 years ago, at least). And yeah, I'm really not the best guy to ask about this. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 20:40, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

Page update (Programs_and_editors/Mapping)

Hi. I'm a new user and I wanted to update Programs_and_editors/Mapping page, since Pigmap renderer supports 1.5.1 version of Minecraft. My edit included change to the website link (link to the github fork, that contains relevant changes to the renderer).

I'm notifying one the administrators as advised by error/warning message:

This action has been automatically identified as harmful, and therefore disallowed. If you believe your edit was constructive, please inform an administrator of what you were trying to do. A brief description of the abuse rule which your action matched is: Adding external links by new users

The block I updated looked like this:

{{:Programs and editors/entry | name = Pigmap | author = equalpants + github community contributors | image = Pigmap.png | platform = {{OS|win|linux}} | programming language = C++ | version = 3e63cc719f (github) | date = 2012-07-29 | source available = {{tc|yes|Yes, GPL}} | minecraft version = {{v|1.5.1}} (except monster heads) | website = https://github.com/akudeukie/pigmap | notes = Fast renderer designed for very large worlds. Unfortunately, I don't have any control over Minecraft's development or management, either the PC or Xbox version. That being said, what's the problem with the Xbox version's multiplayer support that requires servers be added to correct it? ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 12:58, 12 May 2013 (UTC)

Attempted to modify the main page, then attempted to add to the related talk page, my actions were identified as harmful :P

all i'm suggesting is that we expand the Official Links section of the main page... the message i attempted to submit to the related talk page has been pasted below:

Since r/minecraft has been included; I propose to add links to platform specific communities within reddit, since there are two substantial ones currently operating and one smaller one for Pi Edition.... I tried to edit the page, but was unable to.

I think it'd be nice to pull the 'reddit' link - create a new section titled 'Reddit Communities' which would include the following links:

r/minecraft - PC version

r/minecraft360 - XBLA version

r/MCPE - PE version

r/MCPI - Pi version <- optional due to its significantly smaller size

the issue here is that the reddit community at r/minecraft is not too friendly towards submissions relating to the other platforms...

have a look through the history at r/minecraft and you'll notice a trend in the vote count for submissions relating to XBLA and PE editions - it's mostly negative.

since those versions are in their infancy compared to the PC version - it would be helpful for fostering the growth of the platform specific communities to have them linked on the main page...

i'm not at all bashing the community at r/minecraft, rather, just stating that it is clear that the majority of community members at r/minecraft have little to no interest in submissions from the 360 and PE versions in particular.

Pi edition has had hardly any submissions so i can't comment on that, though it is likely that they would be regarded similarly.

edit: i just want to say that i help moderate the reddit minecraft360 and PE communities, so I am in no way attempting to add inappropriate links, just trying to help the communities i'm involved with grow - and since minecraft does have a rich and illustrious history with reddit, i would think that these proposed changes would be welcome on the main page - we have had participation within the 360 community by 4JSteve - as we had assembled a bug list for the previous update with submissions within our community as well, at /r/mcpe - where johanbernhardsson has participated with discussions on upcoming features/updates and bugs.

Unerds 18:25, 14 May 2013 (UTC)

Hello Unerds, sorry about the trouble, but for obvious reasons we don't let just anyone edit the main page. What you were actually trying to edit was the editcopy, where anyone can suggest changes to be made to the main page proper. Regardless, though, your edits were prevented because they would have added external links; due to spambots, the wiki is configured so that new editors cannot add external links. If you edit a bit more and wait a few days, though, you should be able to do so without any trouble.
Now, as for the specifics of your attempted edit, I would suggest bringing it up on Talk:Minecraft Wiki; I don't do anything with the external links on the main page myself, so I'm not really the person to make a decision on that.
Sorry again for all the trouble, and happy editing! =) ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 03:05, 15 May 2013 (UTC)

Template:Armorbar

{{Armorbar|6|}} generates: 🛡🛡🛡. Note that this is identical to {{Armorbar|6}}: 🛡🛡🛡
My version (Recreated here) will generate: 1

2

, which would be an override--note the icons are not 18px. Darkid 22:47, 15 May 2013 (UTC)

The template already supports arbitrary resizing; for example, {{armorbar|6|9px}} produces 🛡🛡🛡. -- Orthotope 01:34, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
Yes, I know. My version of the template was saving some space and parsing time, but he reverted it on the grounds that it didn't support the above functionality. Darkid 01:45, 16 May 2013 (UTC)

I love how the user who I ping doesn't respond, but two other people do >.< And I quote:
"that has less overhead, yes, but it also allows the default values to be overridden with just an empty parameter (e.g. {{armorbar|6|}})"
Darkid 02:08, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
Edit: And I am stupid, yes. Sorry, that does indeed provide a bad functionality. (Although why anyone would specify a blank param is beyond me.) Darkid 02:21, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
Sorry about not responding, I was kinda asleep. ;)
As Orthotope and Ultradude said, that is not functionality we want. Generally, having a blank parameter override default values is not advisable because it's surprising behavior; templates should generally attempt to be as unsurprising as possible for editors using them without reading documentation (though note there is a difference between surprising behavior and sophisticated/"intelligent" behavior). ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 03:40, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
I suppose I should explain my point a bit more, too (I blame sleep-related grogginess =D ). The reason having empty parameters change the template's behavior is usually a bad idea is because empty parameters are often an accidental addition to template calls, especially when they appear at the end of the call, as in your above examples. Templates should not punish editors for accidental misuse of this type; templates are there, after all, to make the lives of editors easier, and anything that works against that goal should be eschewed (within reason, at least). Accidental addition of empty parameters in a call to a template that uses unnamed parameters can already break things in interesting ways (if the empty parameter is inserted before a non-empty parameter), so also having intentional behavior changes in response to empty parameters just increases potential for confusion. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 03:46, 16 May 2013 (UTC)

It would be greatly appreciated if you could help me as you have experience with Wikipedia and such.

Thanks,

Hello SVProductionsHD, to use your signature page, just paste the code {{subst:User:SVProductionsHD/signature}} into the "Signature" input box in your preferences (be sure the "Treat signature as wikitext (without automatic link)" box is checked as well). However, I would strongly recommend against using images in your signature: they lead to unnecessary clutter on talk pages, can slow down page loading and rendering (especially if there's a lot of them), and it becomes easy to vandalize simply by uploading a new version of an image that's been used in a signature across a lot of pages. Let me know if there's anything else I can help with! =) ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 00:40, 18 June 2013 (UTC)

Hi DARKHAWX, and welcome to the wiki! Unfortunately there's no way for you to be "fast-tracked" to allow you to post links faster; all I can suggest for now is that you work on the page without adding the links yet, and keep them saved somewhere. Once you've made 10 edits and your account is 4 days old, you should be able to post links. Sorry for the inconvenience, and good luck! =) ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 13:54, 10 September 2013 (UTC)
Its funny, since I could put up a link (http://minecraft-crafting.net) on my talk page, and I haven't been here for 4 days, 3 at most... Is my talk page special or something? Blueninja66 18:42, 10 September 2013 (UTC)
An editor's talk page may be treated specially by the wiki; I'm not sure. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 16:45, 15 September 2013 (UTC)

86.41.118.152 vandalism

Sorry, I'm not sure how to know which admins are active at any given time, but 86.41.118.152 has been vandalizing multiple pages, including reverting mention of themselves on the admin notice board. I'm sure an admin will notice soon, but perhaps letting you know in this fashion will accelerate the process. Cultist O (talk) 21:16, 8 October 2013 (UTC)

Wrongfully banned account jimb8

Hi Dinoguy, The account of my son (Jimb8) has been hacked and the hacker used very naughty words and was banned therefor. There was nothing my son could do about this from happening, but as a result he is now very unhappy with the fact he can't continue on his favorite server at Minecraft (MC.Shadowrace.net). Is there anything you could do about this ? He has learned to use a more difficult password. Would you please be so kind to help in this ? Thanks a lot in advance. Kind regards, Lisette ( mother of Jim). –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Jimb8 (talkcontribs) 18:25, 16 October 2013 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Sorry, but the Minecraft Wiki have no control over server bans. I suggest you take up this issue with the server administrators. Lennbot (talk) 18:45, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

Was Blocked From Editing

http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Tutorials/Setting_up_a_server

In the above section I added a link to a port forwarding tutorial video and the change went through. When I went back to add a little text to the end of the link it said I was trying to add a link and that i would be blocked.

Is there something I can do to get my privileges back?

Thank you. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by LBadTouch3l (talkcontribs) 18:51, 21 October 2013 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

If you are editing here while logged in (which you clearly are, you were not blocked. you will only continue to trigger our filters for a few more edits, so if you can refrain from posting external links, and just post a few more edits, you will be completely free to add whatever you wish. -- Wynthyst Image:User Wynthyst sig icon.png talk 18:55, 21 October 2013 (UTC)
To be more specific, link restrictions disappear once you have 10 edits and your account is 4 days old. -- t numbermaniac c 21:26, 21 October 2013 (UTC)

There are certain hidden requirements that have to be met before a new user is allowed to create a page. You were able to meet those requirements thus allowing you to create the page. Kanegasi C 21:50, 26 October 2013 (UTC)

Mesa Plateau and new users

Hello, My name is Bucky91702, both here and on minecraft

I recently found a new biome, and eager to learn more about it, i can to this page. However, nothing is posted about it, and I was prompted to create the page myself. I did hoping it would help others find it and even help figure out what it was, but the site will not let me post because I am a new user. I have pictures to back up my findings and I just want to post about this new discovery. I hope you can help and we can do something about it. i have three screen shots that I've attached to show what it is I'm talking aobut.

thanks, and happy holidays, Austin Moore –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Bucky91702 (talkcontribs) 22:34, 23 December 2013 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Your Stupid Automated system deleted my PAGE!

I had just created a new page for the wiki and your "Automated System" "disallowed" my page that took forever to make so GIVE ME BACK MY PAGE NOW!

The name was "Creating a Piston Glitch" which was a really good piece of information for any good minecrafters out there.GET MY PAGE BACK! –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 50.157.164.244 (talk) 19:25, 27 December 2013(UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Sorry about that, but it sounds like your page belongs in Tutorials, not as its own page; if you had been able to create it, it probably would have been deleted or moved anyways. If you want the page content back that badly, I can retrieve it for you. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 22:06, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
If you want, please feel free to read my nice piece of information unless you are somehow a noob:)
By the way I am Going to make an account here and I might help out in making new pages.

Hi again:)

I tried deleting the old news that I wrote down before, you know, when I was complaining about the automated system.WELL YOUR AUTOMATED SYSTEM DISALLOWED THAT!!!So I recommend that you get rid of that stupid good-for-nothing system! NOW! >:( –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 50.157.164.244 (talk) 13:43, 28 December 2013(UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

That was a different detection, intended to prevent people from vandalizing by blanking sections of pages; as such, I can't disable it without causing problems. Generally speaking, though, discussion on talk pages should not be removed anyways. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 13:58, 28 December 2013 (UTC)

I'm afraid I couldn't even if I wanted to, since I'd have no idea what server to join.. However, I have little interest in accepting unsolicited multiplayer invitations from people I don't know, so even telling me what server to join won't get you anywhere, sorry. =( ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 12:39, 29 December 2013 (UTC)

Hey Dino!

Dinoguy1000 can you tell me what I'm doing wrong installing mods.I've tried everything that every tutorial said to do but nothings working,I even tried the automatic mod installers. It just doesn't work for me,the automatic mod installers say that they cannot install the mods.I swear that I am downloading mods that are updated to 1.7.4,but it still does not work.I do every single thing that I'm suppose to do.I thought that maybe my minecraft got installed wrong when I got it from "Minecraft.net".So please tell me what I might be doing wrong,or if I probably got Minecraft wrong. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 50.157.164.244 (talk) 19:01, 29 December 2013(UTC). Hello again (and sorry about the delay in responding)! Unfortunately, I can't offer any help with installing mods; I would suggest instead asking on the Minecraft forums. Sorry, and good luck! ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 04:48, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
