Name change[edit source]
Why are you changing hay block to hay bale? Hay block is the official in-game name. — Hower64 06:03, 1 May 2013 (UTC)
- Oh really? Then why does MOJANG refer to it as "Hay Bales" right here on their official website? Where did people on here get the idea that it's called a "Hay Block" in the first place? — ClockSpiral 07:00, 1 May 2013 (UTC)
- Did you even read what Hower said? It's the name used in the game (which also happens to be made by MOJANG). Additionally, that blog post was made before 13w16b, which added the in-game name for the hay block. –ultradude25 ᐸ Talk

- Also, just type a signature with 4 tildes (~~~~) instead of typing it manually. And yes, it is called the Hay Block in-game. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 08:34, 1 May 2013 (UTC)
- Names of items, blocks, etc. on this wiki are taken directly from ingame. If there is no ingame name, such as the hay block in 13w16a (no tooltip), as well as before it appeared ingame (the Mojam game easter egg), Mojang blogs, tweets, and other social media are a fallback.

- .... I see....
- Still, shouldn't that be mentioned as it is being officially called "Hay Bales" by the company, but the game still refers to it as "Hay Blocks"? It seems like a point of notice that isn't being noted upon.... — ClockSpiral 5:15, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
- It was being referred to, before they picked the name seen in the game.
- If Mojang continue to refer to it as a hay bale while the in-game name remains the same, then it can be mentioned as also known as. –ultradude25 ᐸ Talk

- I just checked the Minecraft Bug Tracker, and they're still addressing the now labeled "Hay Blocks" as "Hay Bales" up to May 3rd. It might be called "block" for easier pre-implementation in the hard code.
- Still not really sure what the deal is with the naming inconsistency.... ClockSpiral 21:25, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
Stop vandalizing[edit source]
Stop vandalizing the Upcoming Features page, the things you added are not upcoming features, they are vastly outdated pieces of information. Notch is no longer the head developer of minecraft and is no longer developing it Jeb is, Get Satisfaction is no longer supported by Mojang all information on it is now irrelevant, and sealife is just speculation on your part. Stop adding things from over 2 years ago that no longer have anything to do with minecraft. And sign your posts on peoples talk pages with four tildes (~~~~) ADCK 01:57, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
- Furthermore, on your 'sea life' addition, Jeb explicitly stated "We have no plans to add this" in your description, why would you add something where he has stated something is NOT planned to the "Planned" section? It just doesn't make any sense, are you attempting to troll or something? ADCK 02:05, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
I've been waitin' ta hear a reply from you about this. Okay, so you think I'm "vandalizin'" information on the Upcoming Features page? How funny. Yes, I am completely aware of the passin' of power from Notch ta Jeb, and I am aware of how it makes everythin' that Notch had suggested previously a technical null. I am also aware of how things on the GetSatisfaction page is not linked anymore.... However, everythin' that I had revived in the sections were all backed by what Jeb had said in addition ta what Notch or GetSatisfaction had ta say. Just because GetSatisfaction is no longer linked ta Mojang, doesn't mean that any and all information Mojang passed along there when it was in session is now void. As long as it wasn't Notch that stated somethin' was planned there, then it's still valid. The moderators there had connection ta Mojang, and thus were able ta pass messages legitimately between Mojang and the community. So, when the issue about Colliding Clouds came about, a message from Jeb was passed on where he stated that he is plannin' ta add it.... Now when talkin' about the Sea Life addition, ya were sayin' that "Jeb explicitly stated "We have no plans ta add this"" in mah description, which is so very very very very FALSE. He did not explicitly state that they had no plans ta add it, what he said was that they didn't have any plans at the moment, but that they would add it in the future, which means that it IS PLANNED, just like the Red Dragons are. If ya actually did some research into these, instead of seein' keywords like "Notch" or "GetSatisfaction" and instantly rage-editin' it out, ya might actually find that these are about as credible as many of the others on that page. SPEAKIN' OF CREDIBILITY, what is up with the idea that somethin' 2 years old is somehow now outdated and thus deemed NEVER GOIN' TA HAPPEN?! When has anythin' marked as planned have an expiration date on it?! Things are only NOT planned, when explicitly revoked otherwise! That is only a concept a rather bad troll would come up with! If anyone was considered Trollin', or vandalizin' information, I would say YOU are! Do not be so quick ta deal out death and judgement on possibilities hinted at, but not denied. Colliding Clouds, and More Sea Life are both ideas still very much possible.
Also, sorry fer not addin' the tildes before. ClockSpiral 06:20, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
