Merge changes from User:Outrowed/Draft/Server list[edit source]
Hello everyone! I would like to merge changes from User:Outrowed/Draft/Server list. The changes contain improvements over the original page, including:
- Reorganizing the article's content into "Description" and "Public server list". The first one is self-explanatory, as it contains the descriptions of the server list in each editions, and the second one groups "Finding unofficial servers" and "Finding EULA compliant servers" into a section.
- The "Description" section unifies the description-ish content from the original article, as it is a bit of mess, and includes the content from the introduction and the "Organizing servers" section.
- Documenting the server appearance on the server list in both editions and describing each of the main UI elements, notably the server's icon and the server's message of the day (also known as MOTD). I would also like to redirect MOTD and Message of the day to this article later.
- Documenting LAN-based servers on the server list (Java Edition only).
The main purpose of this changes is of course making the page neatly organized and improve the readers' experience overall, which I believe I have done so in my draft page. Any feedback or suggestion is welcome by making edits on the draft, or discussing it under this comment page. If no opposes to these changes, I will shortly merge it sometime tomorrow. Thank you!
