Mushroom blocks from the give command[edit source]

@MinecraftWikiLover: The only mushroom block that can be obtained with commands is the one with caps on all sides. There is even a bug related to the fact that is has no damage value variants. Please state in detail how it can be obtained, as it does not work in the PC edition, and the Pocket edition does not have commands. KnightMiner t/c 23:26, 14 June 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I was playing the PC edition. I used /give, and I got a red mushroom block. MinecraftWikiLover (talk) 19:15, 18 June 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yes, that is expected. You can even get those in survival. My point was you cannot get the stems (ever) or the pores (since 1.8 where the caps replaced them). KnightMiner t/c 20:19, 18 June 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I was talking about 1.7. MinecraftWikiLover (talk) 08:24, 10 March 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

4th type of mushroom block in Bedrock Edition[edit source]

I noticed that in the creative inventory there are stem blocks, red and brown mushroom blocks, but also another block just called "Mushroom" which had the pore texture on all sides. Does anyone have info on this that we might want to put in the wiki? Piglin151 (talk) 02:12, 31 March 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

1.16 Model Change[edit source]

Looking through the models the mushroom block model was changed to use "template_single_face" in 1.16. It was not listed in the official change log.

Should it be added?
