Can an editor add in the bug fix list in the 1.16 snapshots that the sounds for soul sand/soil were fixed (previously there were no sounds)? Dogquest (talk) 22:11, 26 February 2020 (UTC) Edit: Nevermind, didn't see it.Reply[reply]

Warning people about bugs[edit source]

Can't help but notice the entry lists a bug about all nether trades being 1-5 items. We tried to warn people about week 7's update being horribly bugged (erases all villagers) and the warning was removed. So are we allowed to talk about bugs in snapshots or aren't we? Because removing the week 7 warning seems like pretty massive griefing in retrospect. That person probably destroyed more worlds than most youtube griefers do in their entire "career". –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.67.123.123 (talk) at 7:21, 27 February 2020 (UTC). Not on these pages, no, and anyway it's not a major bug at all, and removing 'warnings' like that is hardly griefing. The villager thing may have been but everyone has backups so it hardly destroyed anything  Nixinova T  C  07:34, 27 February 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
lol everyone has backups, yeah right. Everyone SHOULD have backups (and I do backup before updating) but there's a rather large amount of people out there that make beginners mistakes. But ok, if it's official that we're not supposed to list unfixed bugs in the snapshot pages I'm fine with that. Just questioning whether or not that is official policy, because 20w07a was definitely the one time to do it.--70.67.123.123 07:49, 27 February 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
i was that person who want to warn, so i made comments in many videos on youtube about that update.. i was made a huge work, build an half a tower on the island beside my diamond trade vilages, and go to the village to purchase some equipment, so i was surprised, to found no one.. and btw about players and backup not everybody live in the village, or close enough, but suddenly one day came to village, and found that it was destroyed by unknown force... anyway i think it would be great if there was an article about major bugs. 134.202.32.1 22:32, 27 February 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
We typically only list bugs that could occur and a player would think the wiki had misinformation. Someone wouldn't see their villagers disappeared and think "oh, they removed villagers." But, someone might barter and get an incorrect amount and say, "oh, the wiki has the incorrect amounts. I should fix that." And, by the way, it's not our fault if someone doesn't make backups. The website warns you to make backups, enabling snapshots warns you to make backups, and the game will even create backups of worlds for you when opening them in a new version. -PancakeIdentity (talk) 22:26, 29 February 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

About texture changes[edit source]

I repent. When I compared the Purpur pillar and Nether wart textures to the bedrock version, they were consistent. So I thought the textures of the tools had changed for the same reason and did not compare them. However, the tools are clearly new and different from the bedrock version. I'm sorry. It's alright. Have the files/file names/histories been updated with these new textures yet or does that still need to be done? -PancakeIdentity (talk) 03:00, 3 March 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I changed those file names. "JE2" and "JE3 BE2" are incorrect, "JE2 BE2" and "JE3" are now correct. For Golden Pickaxe and Hoe, "JE3" and "JE4 BE3" are incorrect, and "JE3 BE3" and "JE4" are now correct. Thank you. Pneuma01 (talk) 03:13, 3 March 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

(Table commented out for the sake of WantedPages. View this page's history or source to view.) Can you move these files using BOT? If not, I will. sorry. Pneuma01 (talk) 03:56, 3 March 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
