Seasonal Freebie Items

Mojang sometimes gives out freebie items on the Character Creator for holidays or update themes. Should there be a separate section for these or should they remain in their respective category with a tag (Due to them saying they will go from being free to selling them after the limited time)?

They should remain in their respective category. For events, they will have their own list of character creator items given out on their respective page. Ex. Community Celebration --XPfirePlayz (talk) 19:26, 7 January 2021 (UTC)

Image Naming Consistency

Hello! I was hoping that we can create a consistent way to name Character creator files. Currently I've been naming them according to TypeNameCategory (Ex. Name (Type) can be used, for example: Cake Apron (Outerwear). I think Category is unnecessary as there are only two categories. Also, space don't have to be removed – Unavailablehoax (talk) 23:50, 7 January 2021 (UTC)

Usually, files are named by how they are ingame exactly, and CamelCase is inconsistent on that part. Also, prefixes haven't been used on standardized names from what I've seen. I think Name (CC Type) would fit. For example, Alex's Mouth (CC Mouth) or I'm on Fire!? (CC Outerwear) – Unavailablehoax (talk) 02:07, 9 January 2021 (UTC)

leftovers in education edition

because on bedrock edition, texture packs are able to change ui, and education edition is based on bedrock, i was able to get into character creator and disable texture pack without leaving. if you try the edit button doesnt work but trying to edit one by clicking on it tels you it cant connect to the market place and also creates if if the slot is blank. these characters can be equiped and will blink too. after going back to the skin pack chooser, there is a new skinpack called skinpack.Standard witch holds the character creator skins. the ui texture pack can cause more wierd things. link to texture pack [1]

Capitalization

Shouldn't Character creator be moved to Character Creator since all the game changelogs and other refences capitalize "Creator"?

Power Core outerwear.

Yes but they're upscaled incorrectly (not the correct resolution to the original). Meaning the files will be inaccurate and unfaithful to the ones visible in the game.

Dressing Room and Character Creator

The Character Creator is a part of the Dressing Room, but this page contains capes and emotes, even though they have their own separate tabs. I think this page should either no longer contain information about emotes and capes, or the page should be re-named to "Dressing Room". It is also worth noting that the dressing room is where you equip skins, which are also documented since there are official skins. I'd appreciate hearing others' opinions on this! I'd remove capes and emotes from this page, these are already documented elsewhere (Cape and Emotes respectively). Maybe we should create a separate Dressing Room page which describes all available content and links to Character Creator, Skin packs, Cape and Emote. – Delycache ^{(Talk | Contributions)} 21:44, 9 March 2025 (UTC)

The problem I have with this is things like "Ex: Twitch Drops, Tiktok Rewards, Etc" where they give all 3, Items, Capes, Emotes, and alot other Events* give these same things, and having them on Character Creator page makes it easier to see all together compared to the User scrolling threw Character Creator (Where they expect this type of stuff to be) and seeing Ex: Twitch Drops only listing just the Items BUT linking to the main Twitch page where all 3 Items/Capes/Emotes are, Another example is Collab itmes/emotes, If I wanna see ALL collab itmes/emotes together its simpler to check the Character Creator page in the category #Minecraft Marketplace Collaborations and seeing the category for Items and then Emotes, but both being showed on the page, compared to them having to check 2 individual pages just to see this information.

missing images
