Install the Indie Wiki Buddy extension
Hide Minecraft Fandom links on Google forever, and replace them with minecraft.wiki

Why?

When we moved the Minecraft Wiki from Fandom last year, it was clear that the hardest part would be getting Google to start showing the new wiki instead of the old, abandoned one. This has gone a bit better than expected: the new wiki shows up first for nearly all 1.21 content, a lot of pre-1.21 content like armor trims, and is the first result for "minecraft wiki" in most countries. It's improving nearly every day.
But it still takes a while! There's a ton of things people are searching that still take them to the abandoned, outdated Fandom wiki, to pages that look like this instead of this. This sucks for the readers! We can't nuke the old wiki, so instead, we helped develop an extension that makes it as easy as possible to avoid Fandom in your Google results.
What does the extension do?
Check out getindie.wiki for way more details about how it works (and by the way, it works for other search engines too, not just Google!)
The big idea is: if your search results contain a link to the Minecraft Fandom wiki, it replaces it with a similar link to minecraft.wiki, and hides the Fandom result.
This should "just work" without you needing to think about the Fandom wiki ever again, but if you notice any bugs, let us know on the talk page.
