Regarding "Swap Dungeons and Legends" Edit

https://minecraft.wiki/w/Talk:Minecraft_Wiki#Swap_Dungeons_and_Legends

I'm not sure that Minecraft Dungeons has been "Discontinued". Mojang said that they have no plans and wont update the game. They still maintain the servers and the game is still very playable and will continue to be playable. I think that it is only fair to say that a Minecraft spin-off is "discontinued" if the game is no longer playable, such as Minecraft: Story Mode, or Minecraft Earth.

I'm not entirely sure if this is how we should view it, but it's important to consider.

I do agree that since Minecraft Legends is now more of a center of game development attention by the developers, it should be listed before Minecraft Dungeons.

Another thing to keep in mind is that if Minecraft Legends is moved, it might stir some controversy because of the negative way the game is received by certain users.

If a piece of software is no longer being updated, it is by definition discontinued. I agree that it is still playable though, so the section should remain (unlike my Earth/Story Mode suggestion).

I am also not aware of the controversy, but for the sake of factual accuracy in a wiki, I think it would not matter in this regard either way. Robotkoer (talk) 07:45, 29 September 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
