The truth is I don't know. Maybe Notch knows who is it as his name "Alexej" appears on the splash.
Remasters Edit
I "remastered" some versions of Minecraft Java Edition Note these projects are completely unrelated to mojang. Use them at your own risk.
Remasters use the base code from newer versions of the game but they have gameplay from the original versions.
- These remasters heve not been completely finished.
- This means they may have bugs.

Infdev Remaster Edit
This unofficial version has features added at Infdev and older versions, you can choose the terrain generator, there are minecart boosters, a new minecart called "Minecart With Bag", old cloth colors, 100% working multiplayer, etc.
