My Lovely Notices That You Must Read Edit
Hello! I am Kavan, a user on this wiki who wishes to help with it.
Who Is Kavan? Edit
I am a regular ol' user who loves Minecraft and tries to help as much as I can. My favorite music discs are Precipice, otherside, Aerie, and Crescent Dunes. I've played Minecraft, Minecraft Dungeons (the original one, Creeping Winters DLC, and Jungle Awakens DLC only), and Minecraft: Story Mode (all seasons/episodes). My favorite biomes are the cherry blossom forest, jungle, lush caves, deep dark, and the badlands (when I can find it at all, that is...). My favorite mobs are the sniffer (passive), fox (neutral), the creaking (hostile), and the ender dragon (boss). I have a few projects that you can see below this entry. My favorite dimension is the End and my favorite thing to do in Minecraft is, well... (insert explosion chaos and villagers being launched to the heavens; I also like building and breeding sniffers, foxes, ocelots, and parrots. Seriously-I have a house that's completely meant for them on one of my servers.)
By The Way...Join The Lore Discussion! Edit
Go to User:Kavan/Theories of MC Game Lore to join a discussion about game lore! This page is used to discuss the lore of all the Minecraft franchise. We'd love to here your theories! (Remember; look at all the notices before doing anything).
The Kavanic Life On The Minecraft Wiki Edit
I began my Minecraft Wiki user "career" on January 25th, 2025. The first thing I did was main a main page discussion for Novels, as well as make a page called "Novel Worlds" (now User:Kavan/Novel Worlds, courtesy of MarkusRost) and eventually met Nerdyguy2000, the first person to respond to a comment I made. Thanks, NG2K; probably the most conversational person i've ever met, IRL or virtual.
Then, I quite literally raised the underworld on the main page talk, in which I made another discussion for proper main page icons. As you can guess, that was a very...interesting discussion that is (I think?) still going on.
(Again, shoutout to Nerdyguy2000; great wiki user. And yes, I did get the bedrock pun, so don't worry about me having less than two braincells.)
I learned how to make msgboxes by pure accident, when I saw one on a user page and examined it to see what template it was, and there you go-an addiction to msgboxes. In fact, I use them instead of userboxes, as you can tell from above.
And, well...I believe that's all right now, at least for my story.
Editing Milestones Edit
-First Edit: January 25th. (Commentary Note: That was so long ago...)
-100th Edit: February 5th. (Commentary Note: Didn't see it coming, lol.)
-200th Edit: February 11th. (Commentary Note: wow...)
-300th Edit: February 15th. (Commentary Note: Wait just one second-did I comment to much? That explains 300 edits...well, onwards to 400!)
-400th Edit: February 18th. (Commentary Note: At this rate, I'm going to hit 1000 by the end of March.)
Pages I've Made. Edit
So...What Do I Do On This Wiki? Edit
I go on the main page talk and have discussions, I make user pages, and I make notices on my pages just so I can see my favorite Minecraft mobs or items. Like this:
You get the point. Where was I? Oh, yes-mentioning how much I love Minecraft Wiki msgboxs. Lovely things, for sure. Now, I also edit other pages (try to, anyways...), contribute to the Minecraft Media project (which is just getting the novels, shows, etc on the main page-hopefully nothing bad happens there), and I go onto people's user pages to look for interesting content for me to look at, whether it's about splash texts or if it's about being a director (spoiler alert: very boring and time-consuming, although the boring part is just my opinion.)
I am also of the opinion that most MCD armor/gear variants are better than the original. NOTICE: "most" is the key word; some, like the Sprout Armor and Living Vines Armor, are much better as their original version (Team Sprout Armor; Living Vines has too much color variation).
Also on this wiki: I use it's info to try not die every time I go to the Nether in Hardcore mode (ghasts in my worlds love to shoot at me from either a very far distance, to shoot at me in hordes, or to quickly float into blocks. It's as if the Hardcore worlds don't want me to actually complete them...).
My Minecraft History Edit
Minecraft Edit
I began on my Nintendo during the 1.16 Nether Update, then stopped for a while after getting Minecraft Dungeons. A few years later, I began to play Minecraft again on the PC during the 1.20 Trails and Trials game drop, and ever since then I've been playing Minecraft ever couple days. Played the newest snapshot for the Spring Drop today!
Minecraft Dungeons Edit
I first played Minecraft Dungeons during it's 1.6.0.0 update. Yes, I'm a Minecraft Dungeons boomer. So? It's a good game, and the only reason why I still have my Nintendo is because of it.
Minecraft Story Mode Edit
This one I've played as well. I don't exactly recall when I played it, but I know I played all seasons and episodes. I kind of wish there was a third season right now...
Minecraft Novels Edit
Well, well-my favorite Minecraft thing. I love books, and as for this-I've read 11 novels, 5 guidebooks, and the Mobestiary. I am about to be getting 5 more novels, and when I do I'm going to be a very happy Kavan. Or maybe a very angry one-the novels are way too short. Either that or I read too fast.
Projects Edit
Novel Worlds Edit
This is a project meant to deal with the actual worlds behind the main novels. Check Novel Worlds – Minecraft Wiki for project work. (Note: Slow Progress)
All Novels Page Edit
This is a project where all novels, books, and guides are shown on one page. Check All Novels – Minecraft Wiki for project work. (Note: Good Progress)
Main Page Proper Icons Edit
This is a project for the main page to have proper icons (aka icons that cover their entire subject). Check Talk:Minecraft Wiki – Minecraft Wiki for discussion and help.
My Icons Ideas Edit
MC: Brewing- a brewing stand, because to get a potion (unless you get it from a chest or dead mob/player) you need a brewing stand.
MC: Mobs- a creeper or creeper head, as creeper is the most iconic Minecraft mob. Blaze, breeze, and ghast would work as well, since they are also iconic mobs and-like the creeper-are unique to Minecraft.
MC: Blocks- bedrock, since it's in every dimension, even the End (although it's only around the end portals).
MC: Items- iron ingot, because it is the first mineral most people find in Minecraft (other then stone).
MC: Enchanting- same icon, since it symbolizes all normal enchanting (ie, without books & anvils).
MC: Biomes- map, since all biomes can be mapped (except the Nether and End, I think).
MC: Effects- the same or fire resistance, since FR is the first potion/enchantment I make for my armor.
MC: Structures- a mineshaft; most common structure in the game. If we are going to do village, at least do a plains village house.
MCD: Story- Orb of Dominance, since it affects more than just the Arch-Illager, and is much more contributing to the overall story than Archie (original name of Arch-Illager).
MCD: Gear- Mystery Armor; first MCD armor I think of. Is also in the Guide to Minecraft Dungeons.
MCD: Heroes- Hal, since he's used for the emotes and therefore seen much more than Hex.
MCD: DLCs- it can stay the same, but I'd prefer Jungle Awakens or Creeping Winter; both are the first DLCs we get. Also the two DLCs you get in the Hero Pass.
Other MC Icons- don't really care, they match their subject.
Lore Theorizing! Edit
This is essentially analyzing lore and making up lore for the Minecraft spin-off games and Minecraft itself. If you wish to join, please check the notices first, then go to User:Kavan/Theories of MC Game Lore – Minecraft Wiki to help!
Community Vote: The Kavanic Choices Edit
2017- The Wildfire, because the Nether needs some type of native boss (even if it wouldn't be a boss, but it's a better version of another mob, so that's that.)
2018- The Savanna, because the trees would have been nice, as well as the ostriches.
2019- The Badlands, because I love the badlands when I find them, and it would've been so great to have more stuff in it.
2020- The Moobloom, since the others were not great (Glow Squid is kind of useless and the Iceologer is already in MCD.
2021- The Allay, because it was cute-looking and I wanted another pet in my giant pet mansion.
2022- The Sniffer, for more or less the same reason as the Allay.
2023- The Penguin, because, well, penguins.
Which one of these do I want to come back? Well, probably the Savanna. I want more in the Savanna, for some bizarre reason.
Is This User Insane? Edit
Short answer, yes! I am very much insane. No two ways about it.
Long Answer? I've simply gone insane from boredom and hunt for entertainment. In this case, discussing the lore of Minecraft Dungeons (yes, we probably have two different notions on what entertainment means). Or in another case, making msgboxes. (Again-it's called being insane. Very much insane.)
A Little On The Wiki Vs Fandom Drama (It's Severe) Edit
Let's face it. There's a game or other piece of content and the Fandom's there. No real point in stopping it. However, there's two different types of Minecraft information that the sides have: Fandom with the (questionable) scary myths and fan works (like Songs of War, a Minecraft one-season show from Squared Media), while the Minecraft Wiki has the actual facts. True, Fandom also has the facts, but not as much.
After all, no one in the Fandom wants a billion pages on how to mine stone. It's the Fandom, not the encyclopedia of how to play every Minecraft game on the planet, as well as every hack, glitch, and speck of lore. It's not done. Why the drama is even occurring is beyond me; the two wikis serve different purposes for the one gaming franchise and that's that.
Why is it severe? I'm not a Wikiologist, so don't ask me. As long as it doesn't have anything to do with my user pages and projects, I'm fine.
Wikiologist Edit
Definition: a person who studies wikis and makes evaluated guesses on what each wiki's purpose is, as well as what the undertones of the wiki are and what is the cause of them.
Do I Care? Edit
Hah, no. It's not even interesting drama. Why should I care? I only made this section so one can either become a Wikiologist or gain the belief that the drama is pointless (which it is-all that matters is that they have different types of Minecraft content).

Wonderful People On The Wiki Edit
Nerdyguy2000 (NG2K) - great wiki user, first one to respond to a comment, is very close to my level of insanity; never thought that would occur.
Ssysi (Poletucha) - a good conversational companion
Oscar - quoter of quotes, is someone who will no doubt help this world become greater.
Harristic - best director, always goes among the common wiki users and listens to their thoughts, and even discusses with them for what they think is right.
Favorite Mobs: Continued Edition Edit
As you know:
The sniffer, fox, creaking, and ender dragon are my favorite mobs from Minecraft.
My favorite Minecraft Dungeons mob is the Wretched Wraith, with the Vengeful Heart of Ender barely a step behind that.
Minecraft Legends, you ask? The Great Hog, for some unknown reason.
In Minecraft Story Mode, the Giant Ghast, hands down. In second place is the Creeder.
