Planks Edit
One plank is 16×16×16 pixels (4096 cubic pixels).

Bamboo Edit
If one old bamboo (no leaves) is 3×3×16 pixels (144 cubic pixels),..

...that means one plank should be equal to 28.444 (4096/144) bamboo.
But this is simply not true, as:
These two crafting recipes imply that one plank could make just 4 bamboo.
Doors Edit
If one door is 16×3×32 pixels (1536 cubic pixels),..

also where does the door hinge come from
...that means 6 planks should yield 16 (24576/1536) doors.
This is not true:
Trapdoors Edit
If one trapdoor is 16×16×3 pixels (768 cubic pixels),..

...that means 6 planks should yield 32 (24576/768) trapdoors.
But that is also not true:
Pressure Plates Edit
If one pressure plate is 14×14×1 pixels (196 cubic pixels),..

...that means two planks should yield 41.796 (8192/196) pressure plates.
But that is still not true.
Buttons Edit
And worst of all, if one button is 6×2×4 pixels (48 cubic pixels),..

...that means one plank should yield 85.333 (4096/48) buttons.
But that is clearly not true!
In conclusion to this information, planks should be HOLLOW.
But wait,... Edit
...these next ones don't make any sense at all.
Bamboo Edit
If:
And:
That means...
Shovels Edit
One shovel is made of one plank/ingot/whatevers.
But a worn out shovel takes multiple of those to repair.

(Don't the sticks degrade too? There's no way to repair them if we're just using cobblestone, iron, gold, or diamonds.)
