Merge with Jungle tree

All of the information on this page is already on Jungle tree. This page can basically just be turned into a redirect without losing information  Nixinova   T   C   03:57, 9 February 2025 (UTC)

 Soft oppose. The jungle bush is literally just a variant of the jungle tree (see first sentence). There's no reason why this should still be an independent page.

I would  oppose instead, because this kind of tree has two key differences between itself and regular jungle trees:

• They have different generation, as these do generate in all jungle biomes, and have a different internal name, which makes them not actual jungle trees but rather something similar visually but not internally.
• They can only be found naturally generated; they cannot be grown from saplings, unlike the other two trees, and if someone only reads the infobox, it worsens the confusion that would generate thinking someone can actually generate jungle bushes with bone meal and saplings.

It would be more reasonable to move jungle bush related info to this article, because they could get confused both seeing the infobox with a tree that is not related to the sapling growing feature, and because it's easier to find specific info by having these two pages separated, as it would be more organized (imo). -- Supeika (talk) 04:52, 9 February 2025 (UTC)

If we aren't going to consider the possibility of fully splitting these pages, I suppose we would merge them. But I think the better option here is to actually split these pages, instead of having this current half-merge situation. It is a bush, why is it be on the tree page? Is there a category for trees in the game's code that the jungle bush is included in and that's why we're treating the bush like a tree? I don't think the feature having a log makes it a tree automatically honestly. - Harristic / Talk 05:01, 9 February 2025 (UTC)

 Oppose per Supeika. Not really a "tree" per se, can't be grown with saplings and even has the peculiarity of generating with mismatched leaves and log types.--Capopanzo (talk | contribs) 10:37, 9 February 2025 (UTC)
