Seems this request has been stalled. A good first step would be to be an active editor of the wiki. Experienced editors may be approved by the wiki community for admin if someone proposes them for adminship. But you can't just become admin for no reason. | violine1101 ^(talk) 09:59, 9 May 2024 (UTC)

Usually when someone is asking for a promotion themselves, people don't like to vote for them. You've barely just registered, so right now your chance to get promoted is almost zero, to answer your question directly. Eventually if you've contributed more extensively and show experience and proficiency, that chance will increase. Problematic illion names

The first time I tried, my edit on the talk page for Java Edition Far Lands/Infdev 20100327 to Beta 1.7.3 was blocked by the unwanted words filter because it included the name for 10^21, which contains a "bad" word (of course, I got around the filter by removing the 'e' and retrying the edit). 10^51 is the next -illion with a problematic name. Could the filter be improved to better handle cases like these where a potentially inappropriate word is contained within another word? Allam171103 (talk) 02:39, 10 May 2024 (UTC)

The filter is mainly targeted against new users. Once you have made a few more edits the filter should no longer block those words. -- MarkusRost (talk) 13:32, 15 May 2024 (UTC)

Well those aren't illion names, but they do look weird. Also, please don't use illion names. Few people know how to read scientific notation, but even fewer know what 602.2 sextillion means. Cave game tech test

Hello! I noticed that Cave game tech test has instructions on how to install it. These instructions are for a different version of the game which has its own page. "Cave game tech test" cannot be installed as it is not publicly available. The alerts icon and notices icon are hard to see in light theme

This is very small, but really bugs me. When you click on the bell (alerts button) on the menu in the top-right corner of the wiki, it opens a small drop-down menu. At the top left of the drop-down menu is a bell icon that’s colored white. On dark theme, it looks fine, but when you switch to light, the bell graphic doesn’t change to black, making it impossible to see. You can’t see white objects on a white background. I don't know if this is intended since I'm new to this wiki but the page for Alley was changed into Tadpole. New search box is bad

In old search (with small text without image) I was able to drag and drop search result to browser's tab bar to open it in new tab (like almost all other links). But now it doesn't work. Miner (talk) 07:22, 7 August 2024 (UTC)

Forum tries to link to IP editor's userpage
