TheThese "white eyes" were likely inspired by a graphical bug in older versions that caused white dots to appear in the seams between blocks, which could resemble pairs of white eyes if two such dots were viewed from a distance. In the video thumbnail, the white eyes and the dark space around them are edited into a normal screenshot of a cave.
