[[Happy ghast]]s can only be ridden only when equipped with a harness. {{ctrl|Using}} a harness on a happy ghast equips it. Up to 4 players can ride a single happy ghast at once.
The harness features large vintage-style aviator goggles, which lower and cover the happy ghast’sghast's eyes whilewhen it is being ridden. They are liftedraise above the eyes when not being ridden. This allows other players to tell when a happy ghast is being ridden by a player, even when said player is [[Invisibility|invisible]].
The color of the harness affects the color of the decorative curtains flowing from the sides.
